Feast Menu

This menu is a preliminary suggestion and subject to change as we go along.
Comments, (let me say that again.) Comments, Questions, or special dietary needs, are Greatly Appreciated.
Dishes marked with an asterisk are vegetarian, that is; no meat or meat products, dairy and egg will be used.
The Feast will be held in the main hall (Crescent Lodge), dinner will be served by a fine staff of excellent clowns,..hmm,.. I mean waiters.
And it will be prepared by Baron Siegfried Heydrich. He is an experienced 'large quantities' cook well known in the SCA-organization.
(on a side note; People tend to mysteriously disappear when they walk to the kitchen to ask for a bottle of ketchup)

on table:
Rolls & whipped butter (*)

entry:
Melon Balls in spiced wine (*)
Caesar Salad (*)
Lentil Soup with yogurt (*)

~~~ Serving delay while entertainment and awards go on ~~~
Roasted Garlic (*) will be on the table as snack food during the ceremonies
main course:
Chicken Breasts in Dijon Sauce and Sliced Sirloin in Mushroom Sauce
Stir fried Vegetable Medley (*)
Rice Pilaf (*)
dessert:
Key Lime Tarts (*)
Coffee (*)
Drink Pomegranate Sekanjabin (*)
The Florida Sun can be quite hot during the daytime, so an ancient Middle Eastern drink, Sekanjabin will be available in the feast hall throughout the entire week-end. This powerful thirst quencher, that can be flavored with any fruit, will restore water, and electrolytes into your body as fast as any 'sports drink' and it's all natural!
