This Convention is named CJC2001 - Contact Juggling Convention 2001 - hence the main theme is Contactjuggling. Most workshops will be on ContactJuggling and the only 'official' contest will be in contact juggling. But other styles of Juggling are not banned from this convention and are in fact welcomed to come and do their stuff as well. So do not be surprised to find non-contact jugglers that can 'Flash' 7 in toss, or an incredible 'devil stick' manipulator that's never picked up a ball before, and yes, you will find more than a few people at this convention, that still have trouble keeping two bean bags go'in with one hand. The point I'm trying to make here is you will encounter many different skill levels and many different styles of 'object manipulation.' Please do not be intimidated by someone else's ability at a particular move, if you wish to learn it, ask them. If you are asked, please be kind, and do the best you can to help the individual.
