I am sorry... yesterday it was a sunny day here and I thought of making a second take (open air this time) of the Follow the Leader combo, because the one I had posted before didn't satisfy me at all. The tricks are unchanged, I just tried to make them better. I'd like the former to be removed from the contest and to apply with this one, but if anybody thinks it's unfair I will understand. I just thought I had time enough to try to film it again better. I wait for Sennyo's instructions (maybe she prefers me to cancel my former post to have things in order).

So again:

1. Windshield wiper
2. Walking halfpipe
3. Prayer
4. Prayer chestroll
5. Inverted prayer curl
6. Claw iso / arm roll extension
7. palm iso transfers
8. Cradle iso
9. Break & Reversal Chest Roll
10. Arm tranfer (does it have a name?)

Here is my very sloppy entry for the week.
I'm following on with elbow to elbow and a circle in the middle.

Another week with lots of great submissions.

This week's winner is: Mark Conigliaro with that sort of spiral. It seems to go flow so nicely right after Teku's move. I personally like way the first version looks the best even though that is the "easier" way. If you would like to do it the 2nd way, go for it.

I'm going to leave it to Mark to answer any questions.

1. Windshield wiper
2. Walking halfpipe
3. Prayer
4. Prayer chestroll
5. Inverted prayer curl
6. Claw iso / arm roll extension
7. 2 handed palmspin iso
8. Cradle iso
9. Break & Reversal Chest Roll
10. Arm Spiral (unless anyone has a better name for it)

I'm enjoying how people are getting creative. Awesome job, EVERYONE!!!!

Carlo- I'm confident that you'd be able to do this move with what else your able to do.

I WON AGAIN!! for this move, I HIGHLY recommend you don't do it how I did in the video. In my video I spun the ball above my head looking up at it. Only do this if you have a stage ball or are very experienced, as you don't want to drop an acrylic on your face. It's hard to explain how to do it safely with an acrylic, so I made a video. Notice how I'm standing to the side, that way you can see that the ball stays in front of me the whole time. I also threw in a little silent tutorial for the move.

Thank you Mark and congratulations!

There is a difference between the submission and the tutorial, though! In the tuto you do half the movement you made in the FTL video. What shall we do? I am trying to learn the complete move...
Ciao!

Carlo

Ahh, took me a while to see what you were saying, but I see it now. In the submission video, I did what I did in the tutorial video, then did a half folding line by doing a forearm roll, switch to outside elbow, then back arm roll into a cradle.

That's just a transition I use to keep the flow going, and I'd suggest you learn it because it's an amazing transition and I use it for a lot of tricks. But the arm spiral itself is what I do in the tutorial video.

Finishing with like a straight arm chestroll with a loop thrown in (its hard to see but my hand cuts in at about the elbow)

I went on with something I've practiced lately. I'm not sure that trick exists and has a name. I'd like it to look as if the performer wanted the ball to lift his sleeves, but I don't know if that is how it will look like when I'll be able to make it better.

P.S. Can I remove the old videos, now that I have a better background?

Finally got to film outside, it was a nice day, and it was the first time I got to use my new camera outside. Looks good from what I see. But for this part I followed my arm spiral to a forearm starting neck roll.

Great submissions again!!! Wow! :D

This week, the person who came up with the winning move is: Carlo Oxy!!! I'll just call it what Carlo did on his youtube video - Around the thumb iso....unless there is an official name for it. I thought this was a very nice move to put in directly after Mark's spiral. I liked how you described that too with "I'd like it to look as if the performer wanted the ball to lift his sleeves." Nice way to think of it.

It would be really nice after the bigger spiral to attempt to keep this move really slowed down and display the control....just do the best you can with the control, no matter where your at. Looking like your off to a doing that well, Carlo.

So far we have:

1. Windshield wiper
2. Walking halfpipe
3. Prayer
4. Prayer chestroll
5. Inverted prayer curl
6. Claw iso / arm roll extension
7. 2 handed palmspin iso
8. Cradle iso
9. Break & Reversal Chest Roll
10. Arm Spiral
11. Around the thumb iso

(And yes, Carlo, if you really want to take down some of the older videos, that's fine.)

This is turning into such a cool routine....and it's because of what you are all adding to it! Just awesome guys!! :ball:
