just something that i came across a few days ago whilst CJing.
ive been recently working on "tweaking" moves after seeing/hearing one of my friends that skateboards talk about "tweaking" an ollie.
in nut shell, it means doing the move slightly past the comfort point and stretch the climax of the movement out for as long as you can.
doing an outside elbow stall, you could tweak it by moving your arm to the outside slightly more than normal and really making it look like a stretch.
anyways, i playing around with that found something interesting, if you do an outside elbow stall, you can bring your hand into your shoulder and raise your elbow a bit, theres a nice little niche made up of muscle and the bone point of your elbow ( well at least on my arm, maybe a freak :D )
anyways i thought that was interesting and worth sharing!

That's a rather awkward, but interesting stall point.
Nice!

That does sound really interesting! Maybe it wouldn't be so awkward if you did it with from a jackknife stall, although it would probably look cooler if you got it there from a regular outside arm roll.

I get where you're coming from - i tend to go the other way, and stretch my arms out straight, and balance in the dimple formed there. i might try both from now on - am i right in thinking your arm is in the "birdie song" position?

I elect, assuming Bazz is correct, to name this new and exciting stall after Bazz's comment. Birdie Stall! (Still, important to know the difference between a birdie stall and just plain flipping the bird...)

so like moving your arm in the same direction of the ball that the elbow is sticking out to the side instead of the front?

Arnar, you beautiful bastard! Revisiting the concept of tweaking stalls has led me today to discover I can pull off a roll into a perfectly straight armed bicep stall with the palm facing the ground. (ball stalls on the top arm section a little past the elbow joint)
I don't think I would have explored this if you hadn't posted this thought process.
THANK YOU!THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
