I am cross that my gravel rash has soaked through two pairs of trousers at work today :(

You shouldn't be wearing two pairs of trousers

I am relaxing after a crazy-awesome circus day where I got to meet fellow dotorger.

I am also hoping that Hobbs has a great time in Africa!

I home after seeing Zoe Keating performing. She was beyond awesome.

I am happy.

I am wishing I were shorter. Just by an inch or two. It's getting really old when little kids look at me and tell me I'm tall. It's cute and all...but I've been told a thousand times. XD

Tell them you are part giant. I know that's Bri's story, right? :P

I am sore after 2 back to back shifts of back breaking dead lifting people.

Trust me, there's no way to win the height issue. If you were shorter, you'd wish you were taller. I've been telling people I'm part dwarf but I don't think I'm getting quite the same effect :balance:

I am pleased to see my plants survived the week in captivity at my friend's house (this being the person who can't make boiled eggs)

I either say I'm part giant, or else the world's tallest midget. And yeah, I agree with the fact that the height game can't be won. But when you've hit 6'0" before you're sixteen, that's a bit extreme. XD

That kind of height run in the men of my family. My dad, brother and oldest son all hit 6 feet by 15. My younger son hasn't, but he doesn't eat much.

I am eating pizza and indulging my whims.

I was 6'0 when I was 15 too! If I were even just 2 inches shorter my life would have been very different. It has it's uses being lanky though. Arm rolls are more impressive

No no no, you are 5'12", that's what my female friends who are 6' say anyway.
I was 6' by 15 too, and skinny. I'm not now (skinny that is) but Elsie is one of the few people who I have to look up to make eye contact (well in those 3" platform shoes anyway!).

This is true...I will use my height to my advantage, just like I did for gymnastics. XD It's somewhat more amazing when a 6'0" girl swings around on the bars than a 5'0" girl. My arm rolls will someday be fantastic! :D

I am discovering the joys of Shimeji. Sherlock, John, Mycroft, Moriarty, and Lestrade are walking around my desktop.
