May I ask what the balls are made of?
I really want to buy a pair but I live all the way here in Korea >.<
Not willing to spend 200+ USD on one of Okotanpe's as nice they look...

Hi Foresector! The balls are an extremely dense plastic resin, very similar in looks and feel to solid colour acrylics. Nice and shiny, and a tiny bit heavier. They are finished beautifully and perfectly round. I don't mind saying the batons look pretty damned sexy!
I'm about to pick up a new selection of acrylic rods too, details coming tomorrow.

**edit** postage to Korea is the same as to the USA. And a good way to describe the balls is to think of very high quality snooker balls, actually! They're made of a similar compound, which absolutely stinks when I drill them out...

The batons do indeed look very sexy, even more so in the acrylic rather than pictures!

At long last!!!!!! They have arrived!!!!!!

WOW these are gorgeous!

The first reaction is definitely wow. The acrylic is super clear, the ends super bright and vibrant. They were heavier than I was expecting, mainly because what I have been using is really light. Once i played with them for a couple minutes the added weight definitely helped my isolations. The length is perfect, shorter than what I was using but more comfortable I would say. They were well and safely packaged, I mean they did make it all the way across the pond without a scratch :D.

I am loving everything about these and though I was trying to be delicate and careful I did manage to drop them once onto tile flooring and they didnt have a scratch. Cant wait to practice more and show them off in the next FTL competition video!

Anyone who was on the fence about paying the money for these I think its well worth it. Even my girlfriend who usually just rolls her eyes whenever I get excited about a new prop said they looked really nice. :D

You have made a beautiful product. Thank you!

Ha ha, great, I'm glad they got there safely! I'm even more glad you like them so much (and knit them little bags, how sweet!).

Cory, you pretty much described exactly what happened to me when I made my first pair, I was overjoyed at how nice the turned out :D

Thanks for such lovely words, I'm so pleased you're happy with them, really I am! I'm also very pleased that the tile didn't break

I made some new batons today with 15mm acrylic rods! They have 38mm balls, weigh 200g each, and are just beautiful! They spin much slower than the others and don't have so much weight in the balls, so they don't kind of "isolate themselves" like the others. I love 'em :D
In the photo the left one looks like there is a funny white line under the ball, it's just a reflection of the camera flash on the acrylic.

If you are planning on going on stage at any point, these are the ones you should go for.

£45 per pair plus p&p!
