An unconscious collective web of imaginations and formations embodied through the vantage point of 'Sam'.

Mainly just practice and mucking around. Wasn't going to make it public but then I felt like I actually enjoyed watching it a bit so I thought I'd post it here and see if you enjoyed it as well :)

Warmly,
Sam

Very nice, very dynamic... yet another among the ranks of dance/manipulators who are not wanking around with one or the other but are finally accomplishing both.

Bridge rolls with pirouettes (1:17) are the new black, def my new favorite trick. When bringing them down, keep them a little further from your torso and you can elongate them even further - the tendency is to bring them down in front of your sternum but I feel like that closes you down, y'know? If you keep a really round frame then they'll just glide right into a chestroll or folding line or spiral or whatever you damn well please.

Also, 1:42 - 1:52 is my favorite and I think straight-wristed elbow stalls are prettier.

Excellent work mang... looking forward to seeing more!

@Bri: Thank you. You are special :) I just felt very confident that I would like to share some of my ideas with the web of people that is .org.

@Richard: Really enjoyed your comments. They showed me something really interesting about contact/perception. I personally like doing bent-wrist arm isos. I spent some time working them out to be parallel/perpendicular. This is because my arm stall is significantly more consistent/solid when I do this. But maybe it has to be more perfect to really pull them off.
Thanks for the ideas about the bridge roll. I think I remember you talking about bridge roll pirouettes a while back (maybe 4 months ago or so on the learning a new move thread or something?) and started doing them. They feel nice. When I do bridges I try to isolate the ball in the horizontal axis while having it change in the vertical. When I'm performing that trick it works out quite well but in this context maybe it didn't. It does feel a bit closed. I think I'll try to do some more open stuff... going into spirals sounds fun, especially a helix (that's the inverse spiral right?). Thanks for the advice Richard!!

Glad you all enjoyed it =]
