I'm looking for a good place to buy various balls from. I currently only have one 75mm acrylic, but I would like to have at least two more. Anyone know where I can find some for a good price? (I'm in Michigan btw)

the fact that they have a 4" blood red acrylic makes me happy beyond belief.

Second on Neon Husky. Love them so much. And I do recommend getting the Mystery Box. I have gotten acrylics and cool stuff with it.

if you are determined to build on your 75mm you may need to look elsewhere. There is not a huge difference between 75/76 but it's never optimal to mix sizes.

Plenty of places do 76mm and you can get them very cheaply as there people bulk buying Chinese balls. Some of these are complete dogs so make sure you check your balls for clarity/shape

Homeofpoi.com have 75's at a really good price, no idea on quality but they have 75's in colours as well which used to be one of the downsides to 75's (my referal code is sdebqusoorfisofidede if you order from them ;) )

Sam @ Netjuggler.net (France) carries 75's, haven't seen them so I can't talk about quality

I know* you can get very clear 75's from Butterfingers (and shops they supply to) in the UK but like balls from Beard you pay for the quality and non 3rd world manufacturing (Beard had a bit of a bad run shape wise but they do really clean performer grade balls now, I'm not sure if they do 75)

*because I've worked on their stall at festivals and have sold them I honestly cant remember as much as a floater in one. The pinks pretty as well.

Neonhusy and homeofpoi are really the only two sights you need.
There are plenty of other good ones out there, but those are the only shops i've shopped online from.
Sparkling city magic shoppe has awesome stuff, but i have heard shipping can be fun from them, so if possible shop in person with those guys, the owners a cool guy who clearly loves CJ but it's really just him and I think his wife, so that may be why online shipping takes a bit.

I just ordered an azure 95mm acrylic from them. I have potentially two more week waiting time till I can respond with the quality. :D

I bought from www.tryouttoys.com, the price was okay, the quality was great until two weeks in when I dropped the ball on a nail and chipped it. :(

Definitely Home of Poi. The quality is super-high, they're very very durable, and the prices are the best available online. The only problem is you've gotta ship from New Zealand (so the price balances out, ha), but it's worth it if you've got a week or two to wait.

Plus they give their frequent buyers discount codes to hand off to friends ;) Hereyago: http://www.homeofpoi.com/?friend=gravitydefiance

Step off with the code Richard, I got in first :P :)

My only problem with HoP is akin to food miles it's a long way to ship something. It has to be really worth it or have no real alternative for me to buy something that potentially comes from china to NZ then to me in Europe or even worse from Europe to NZ and back to Europe. But I'd probably say that their acrylics deal is hard to beat.

I'm also going to make a plea to check out your local shops if you have one to see what they carry. These were the shops that hopefully help your local scene by supporting the juggling clubs/ Uni societies and conventions.
They often support jugglers by giving them jobs they were suited for when they maybe struggled elsewhere. Hairy from MushyPea gave me a job back in the mid 90's when they had a shop in Manchester. I was badly unemployed and drifting. I not sure he even knew my name but I used to hang around the shop. One day he asked me if I fancied looking after the shop for a fortnight so he could trade at some music festivals. He handed me the keys, a float, showed me how to use the card machine and gave me instructions on where to bank the takings at the end of the week he took down my phone number and of he went.
It meant a lot to me and I know jugglers who've had help/work when they've needed it which Is one of the reasons I'm not looking forward to the day when we only have a handful of places we buy from for the sake of maybe saving £1 a club of 50p on a juggling ball.

Aw snap, didn't see that you'd included your code, sorry!

And yeah, I definitely feel you on shipping things all 'round the world. I figure that they get their supply direct from China, which is how they're able to sell them for so dam cheep.

And yeah yeah, definitely buy local if you get the chance. I'm just used to never seeing any local juggling shops; for me it's either 1) buying things at fests (where they're often expensive) or 2) buying online.

I gotta say, my 95mm from HoP isn't as clear as I'd like it to be, it's got a slight greenish blueish purpleish hue.

I've been looking around and I haven't found anywhere within my area that sells CJ balls. I found that kind of odd since Ann Arbor is a pretty diverse city when it comes to shops.

I think your nearest place is Wunderground magic in Clawson (not close or budget)

Pity you were not looking for balls back in May, it looks like you have a fair amount of traders turning up at Ann Arbor Juggling Arts Fest.
