I think you need to study your dotorg bonus point to real world benefit conversion chart again.

1000 dotorg bonus points is exchangable for the sum of one doughnut (and only then in my presence!).

Bagels have yet to enter into the equation!

It's true. When I dispense bonus points, I, uhh.... I do it on credit. I don't actually give you the physical points, rather we now make note of it in your profile.

So if you all suddenly decided to make a run on your points and buy up bagels, well... that would create a bit of a problem (administratively and otherwise)... 'cause it'll take me a couple of days (and a few phone calls to people that I owe 'favors' from) to get all the points together. I'm totally good for it though.. you shouldn't lose faith in the economic power of the DotOrg Bonus point.... it's all there... uhhh... just that I agree with Xan and I think nobody should ever try to spent their points (ever)
