I was walking back to my room feeling rather depressed after having stabbed my thumb accidently 2 times while trying to clean surgery needles, but then I saw that mail had arrived!
Suddenly all the pain from my thumb was gone as I started practising with the batons ^^
They were even better then what I was expecting and were so nice to look at :)
But then my wrists starting hurting after a while so I decided it was best to go to sleep... for now :)

Thankyou Elsie, the timing of delivery was sublime, the batons are incredible :)

All part of the service! I'm really glad you like them :D

They do all look so beautiful. I've got a new favourite, I made some yellow ones and they make my mouth water...

I made a video a while back of me beating the hell out of a baton with the 15mm rod. I did manage to break one end (couldn't do the other end even after beating it really hard on a paving slab) so even though these look delicate and fragile, they're tough as old boots.

Bru, check that last sentence

Fantastic, I'm glad they arrived safely! Time for the fun to begin :D

Every now and then I just like to look at them, even though they are functional they are still objects of beauty! It's just like when you've got a nice shiny new acrylic, it's so much more than "just a ball". Even non jugglers pick the batons up and say ooh!

And like I say, they are tough as old boots so don't worry about dropping them...

I was wondering... is "Das Isobar" supposed to be a word play with the German article "Das"?

Hey everybody?
Exist for sale a pair of isolation batons with acrylic rod and balls colored like metal...to be clear, like the greats Piryokopi..????..
Cause mine are home made, quite good for practice, but not pretty enough for performances..
The batons show at the beginning of the page are pretty, but I absolutely prefer balls colored like metal..
I'm waiting for an answer of anyone can/would kindly help me!!!

:) :) :) :)

Vali, I really want something like this too. I may have just found the answer for a decent price, will update you in a week or so!

In the next two weeks I'll have a very large amount of batons of all different varieties available to buy, as soon as they are ready I'll let you all know. I'll also have some 8rings going through some tests and if all goes well then full scale production begins immediately!

Haha, funny :D
Since you were born in Berlin, you propably know that there are 3 different articles in German: Der, Die & Das.
I was thinking about what the word "Isobar" could mean with the different articles in front. It was good that you didn't use "Die Isobar", because that could/would be interpreted as "the isobar", where "bar" means the place where you go to have drinks. :D

"Der Isobar" wouldn't make any sense at all. But with a bit of imagination, "Das Isobar" could be interpreted as "Das Isolierbare", which means "That, which is isolatable". Not really a common word, but the meaning fits. :D

I would just have called the company "lsobar" but had to add an extra word because that name was already being used. I didn't like "Isobar juggling" or "Isobar products", but felt that "Das Isobar" sounded really strong. I also quite like the way it sounds like a bar where you can get drinks and socialise, maybe that's where I'll end up in years to come! I fully intend on getting a stall together to take to conventions, it would be great if it ended up being a social hub for manipulators.

I've not had a moment to see what is going on with the metal balls, I'll go and pay them a visit tomorrow.
