First in the multiball padded cell! I think ill stay for a while :D

Actually I think the first post should be devoted to this.

If you are in this cell you should have or be ordering within the next 10 minutes this book! It is the most important tool other than your balls and your hands for multiball contact.

My first step.

and my second step

and from BrianO a whole bunch more to work on

Agreed! Maybe this is a good thread to post some good beginner multiball tutorials also.

I renamed that book "The Ballcube Man Book Of Making Things Out Of Several Balls At Once." It's much catchier!
I am currently down one 70mm and only have three - one got accidentally swapped for a 75mm at Southern Lights. I'm jonesing for my multiball fix.

Im thinking BrianO, what if we made threads, starting 2ball, starting 3ball, starting 4ball....and so on. And put the tutorials in each?

I could change this thread to 2ball and we can add your videos into the other threads. Thoughts anyone?

Meant to post this a few days ago but i couldnt remmeber my password.

Im fairly new to single ball contact, so i decided to start learning multiball along with it (seems like i can practice it with less space as well.) But i have issues with a separated 2b palmspin.

I can do a 2b palmspin on both my left and right hand, in both directions, with very very few clicks. i can separate them vertically:

O
O

Like that. But when they are Horizontal (OO when touching, and supposed to be O O when separating) they are kinda like this:

(ball) hand hand hand hand
hand hand hand hand hand
hand hand hand hand (ball)
hand hand hand hand hand
hand hand hand hand hand

Now since i dont have a picture or a video, and my explanation is terrible, Cory O's seperating horizontal would look like this (in my crappy description)

hand hand hand hand hand
hand hand hand hand hand
(ball) hand hand hand (ball)
hand hand hand hand hand
hand hand hand hand hand

And explained in words, the balls, when seperated, are diagonal from eachother with the right one sitting between my thumb and index finger, and the left one between my pinky and ring finger.

With this layout when i pass the balls horizontally across my palm,t hat click together because even when the ball rolls over the farthest part of the left side of my palm, it still clicks against the ball between my thumb and index finger.

Hope i didnt make that to convoluted.

Would getting smaller balls make this better?

Also (puts on flame suit) i dont have drews books =(

Sorry for necroing, better than making a new thread though.

Learn the tricky spots on your hand as if they were stall points. Open your hands really really wide and make them really big and flat, then practice balancing a ball on the part of your palm that doesn't want to hold the ball. Once you can do that, start rocking the ball back and forth on that point, as if you were trying to make a groove over that furthest-out point of your palm. Finally, roll the ball in a circle around the "extremity" of your palm, as far out as it will go. Do all of this as slowly as possible, especially over your trouble spots. Repeat as desired.
