I had a slow day today and decided to do some filming at my college. I have some CJ and some Poi in the video

I am not particularly fond of how some of the editing came out, but that's because I kept fidgeting with the camera in between takes. So I do apologize about that.

Hey Rabit,

This is looking like good progression! Id recommend slowing down a bit especially on the isos. Your technique looks solid =] Looking forward to your next video.

Hi man. As has been said your technique looks solid and the editing is inventive so I’ve been wondering what it is that I don’t like about this vid.
Its just dawned on me. You expression never changes. Combined with the sunglasses there’s just no life to it.
Sorry if that sounds bad.
Skill wise yea cool You really are developing the skills far quicker than I am…
breath, life, smile.

You're doing awesome.
Aside from slowing down, I would suggest making the move at 1:35 more visible to your audience; Maybe hold your hand out to the side. If the view is straight on, it drastically losing it's effect.

This video kind of reminded me of Super Agent contact Juggling. (While off duty)
It was fun. ^_^

I just feel I could have edited it better and just being my own worst critic mostly. I like wearing sunglasses but I've started to notice that it kills any expression, so I definitely am going to stop wearing sunglasses when performing.

Slowing down I get told by everyone, and it is seriously the hardest thing for me to work on and I have not idea why!? I have been trying to but what seems slow to me I play back on video and I'm going fast. So I slow down more and I lose control of the ball. Any pointers greatly appreciative.

I've been having a hard time capturing that move at a good angle on camera, but when performed live people have always responded well to it. But I will definitely explore different ways of playing with it.

Thanks for the comments, definitely stuff I know I can improve on.

I watched this the other day, and didnt have a chance to respond, i may have forgot the subtler points of things, but --

All that talk about your (lack of) personality, I say hogwash to removing the sunglasses, your moves are good, but you can project the personality you want onto the ball with or without them.

A Lady left me a message on this video asking me to join them and perform with them during orientations and when they go to promote themselves at High Schools. I sent her a message back saying I'd be all for this. This was two weeks ago.

Today while at an International Fair Day there was a Booth for my College. We decided to go check it out and I had been playing with my ball all day. The woman working the booth noticed the ball and recognized me from the video. She had apparently been disappointed that she never got a message back from me. I had told her I sent her a message over YouTube but she never got it. We talked for a bit, and she apparently sent the video to her boss, The Dean of the school, the person in charge of the sculpture project, and a bunch more, and apparently they all loved the video. She wants me to join them when they go to promote themselves to High School and be the opening act. Performing about a 5 minute routine with CJ and Poi to get the kids excited about the School before they start the "boring" part about why IVC is the school for them. We exchanged information and she said they would be in contact with me about half way through the spring semester when they start to promote the school.

I almost didn't go to this thing today, but I am so happy I did.
