Hey all,

Who's in southern cali-- LA/+OC?

I don't mind hunting down the space and haggling a time if I can get a few people interested in a twice-monthly (or weekly?) Meetup. Who's here?

As you're already aware, I'm a SoCal local.

I haven't seen him around (nor met with in person) but I know Rabit lives somewhere here in SoCal.

I would say that we could just meet up at the bi-monthly OC Jugglers meetups but they recently lost their space so they're looking for somewhere new before meeting up again.

I feel like there have to be more... it used to be that Owen and Robin Spehar (WHERE ARE YOU ROBIN?) were here, but now...?

I would like to make a trip, meet-up, and visit other OC-Irvine family... sucks about the OJs losing their space... are the South Pasadena juggles still around?

Ya i am in the OC area. I live in Irvine, but moving to Lake Forest shortly. But Ya I am definitely up for a Bi-monthly meetup. I have been looking for a group of CJers to meetup with since I started doing this.

I miss Robin too! I found him recently on FB and while I dont think he checks it much, he seems to be in CA.

I'm gonna start looking around for a space and figuring this out. A SoCal group would be such good fun, with old memories and new friends.

I just had a though... Depending on the space you find and how many people you want, the Orange Jugglers might be interested in using the space as well. That would cut down the cost and might be useful because they have experience with renting out spaces.

Realistically, it will be more manageable to start small...I live in LA and don't think I'll even have the resources to be looking as far south as irvine.

I'm thinking the furthest south would be long beach (the peacekeeping solution for the eternal LA/OC problem), and also, the bigger space I look for, the harder it will be to find.

I was thinking initially at poking around the circus schools in LA (we have 2) and the community centers...

I have no problem meeting halfway up to LA. Long Beach area definitely would be fine for me

If it has to be LA it has to be LA, be cool just to meet up with some fellow Dotorg members and CJ with them. But yes try our best to avoid rush hour ^^;

Me and my brother contact juggles, we usually gather at Venice on Sundays for Flow Temple on the grassy knoll. But tomorrow we will be checking out a hoop jam in North Hollywood Park. https://www.facebook.com/events/119457508206358
