I have become slightly obsessed with the thing and want to not only better understand the mechanics of the move itself, but also wish to get tips on how to do it better.

From my present understanding, it's like a forward finger roll mixed with a squeeze up? You're rolling the ball over the fingers into the fist, then pulling it into the next palms roll?

If someone could clarify it'd be much appeciated (videos are also welcome...very welcome...).

I can do the move decently smooth with my acrylic. Not so much with my sil-x...which bothers me. I'm pretty sure this is because I am dragging my fingers over the ball with the acrylic versus actually rolling the ball.

This could all be nonsense, though. I've literally 'taught' myself this move just from watching peoples' routines and trying to mimic their actions.

Please help ._.

Thanks much,
Cetra <3

Btw...

I think my thumbs are the things annoying me atm...on my sil-x, they're what tries to drag over the ball and fails, and on the acrylic it easily just glides over as my fingers rolls the ball along.

try doing it without using your thumbs, finger roll forward and up and only bring your thumb in at the last minute.
As you roll off each finger curl it up behind the ball that is.
