Who is your favorite contact juggler, not necessarily in terms of being the best, but in terms of having a style that truly impresses and inspires you on a personal level? (I don't want this to be a "whose got the maddest skillz" argument, or offend anyone by exclusion.)

Moschen? Okotanpe? Duncan? Brunn? Someone right here on the forum? Yourself even?

And most importantly, what is it about them or their act that impacts you so much?

To get the ball rolling... for me, Okotanpe was the initial inspiration (original, right?). The amount of control he exhibits is still phenomenal to me. Also, and this is perhaps an odd reason to like him, but he really has the smiling at the audience thing nailed - making it look natural and comfortable like he's having fun. I think that's important.

In terms of inspiring routines, Steven Ragatz's juggling with big blue balls is the one that entertains and inspires me the most. I enjoy seeing character and story on stage so when it's built into a juggling routine so neatly it's like a christmas present for me.

On the forum itself I'm truly impressed with the footage I've seen of almost everyone, but two really stand out to me on a personal level - Billy Bellew has some of the smoothest arm rolls I've ever seen and I think that's inspiring to me right now because that's what I'm trying to learn right now. And Carlo Oxy has isolation skills that make my jaw hit the floor. Someone else on here a few days back called them "downright witchcraft" and I'm inclined to agree.

So who's doing it for you at the moment? :D

So many people with skills I admire.

Kyle, Dawn and Grateful's fantastically ingenious body rolls
Moon's beautiful and methodical multiball.
Elsie's isolations and footwork.

And many, many more.

Kelvin Kalvus for his amazing body rolls and stalls. And just his performance presence in general.

Ryan is a big inspiration for me. He brings funk to the table.

Moon is too. He's responsible for the first CJ video I ever saw.

Sorry, I meant to have Moon on my list too. I am going to get a set of 3.25"/82mm acrylics to start doing larger sphere multiball because Moon makes it look so awesome.

Moschen a la Bowie was my first introduction to CJ, and I decided to learn the basics to complete a halloween costume of Jareth. I came across Dawn's OCCJD video, and I fell in love with the discipline/art. I loved how magical it looked (from Moshcen), and how much fun/enjoyment was being protrayed (from Dawn). So obviously the two of those would be quite high up.

But one Contact Juggler I would have a lot of time for is iMark - haven't seen much of technical ability, but what I have seen I liked. What impresses me most is how helpful and logical he is.

Another would be Mr. Crispy, for putting himself out there as a catalyst to spur on development.

Porcu_Brine for providing good tutorials, and also trying to get people to move away from the CJ clichés

I have always appreciated people more for how they go about what they do, rather than what they do. So yeah, the above I rank fairly high as people & contact jugglers

my original inspiration was Silver Paul, I love the exaggerated styles of movements & have videos where I look just like him.

I got a bit more subtle when I began dating Ryan... Although he is a big influence, we actually argue about style. (his style is awesome, I'm just a body roller more than isolationist) Ryan's creativity is mind blowing and gets me out of a tiny box I get trapped in.

Jea9 & MCP will for both being female and at the top of the class in their respective fields. Jea9 for the bodyrolls, MCP for the contact club. Both give me an idea that I have to work on for years to match their styles... they give great brain food...

Tony Duncan for winning an IJA, for his enthusiasm and his humbleness. Tony has the best multiball & ALL with silicone balls! His head rolls area sick too...

Mr. Om is the most meditative and actually finds his flow in contact the same way I do... He inspires great amounts of awe and wonder, while also being the most down to earth man who taught us here.

Dimitri for his street performance

Matt H & Elsie for their liquid style

It's so hard to choose a favorite.
But I will say it was Moon, Dawn, and Mr. Om who initially inspired me to continue.
The styles are different, but the energies are the same. It's beautiful.

Hmm, I dunno these days. So many people over time have inspired me.

Matt H and Ryan for the iso sickness.

Em and Pich are/were probably my fav multiballers. These days, probably Moon< sick wit it.

I don't have a favorite bodyroller. never really did. Cept maybe J9 and Kelvin.

Deffo have to mention Tony D though.

Moschen! He was my first. Long before my gray hair and crows feet or the movie 'Labyrinth' I saw him make those crystal balls dance and it was magic.

I've seen others do some amazing things also, but nothing beats your first time in person.

My current/ongoing inspiration is definitely Elsie. Whenever I need inspiration, I check out Elsie's videos.

Also, Michael Glenn. He was the first contact juggler I ever saw. I met him at a Ren Fair. Consequently, he sold me my first acrylic.
