Greetings,
My name is Alex and I am brand new to CJ. I have been strongly immersed in the art of magic for about 13 years and toss juggling for about 1. I saw a street performer performing CJ and I was hooked. I went home, bought a ball, and here I am! I am very excited to get started!

Hey welcome to Dotorg. I'm sure you'll love it here. What Kind of ball did you get?

Welcome to the madness!

Three inch balls are a bit small for single ball work. They work (a bunch of the "old timers" initially learned using them), but you may be more comfortable with a 90-100mm acrylic or 100-125mm stage ball.

Welcome to dotorg- I'd recommend giving Eca's advice some serious consideration. Stage balls might not have the same visual appeal as an acrylic, but during the beginning stages, its more about learning than looking like a performer, I believe.

Hey Elise!
I am from the San Francisco Area! I am sorry, but I have no idea who it was. It was just some random guy in San Francisco. Where abouts are you from?

Hey there - you probably saw my street show :) And if not, I wanna know who else is busking CJ in the Bay - I don't know anyone else who does, but it seems like more should...

...anyway, hey! Come to either of the open practices at the Vulcan (4401 San Leandro St, Oakland) and we can jam:

Wednesday night, from 9 to 12 PM in Unit 56 (use the call box)
Thursday night, from 7 to 10 PM in Unit 5 (a.k.a. 925 45th Ave, Oakland)

Or if you're ever by Flowtoys in west Berkeley, come by and say what's up and juggle... plenty of space. wewt.
