I noticed a couple of people mentioned parkour in another thread. Who's into this? I started very recently and I am slow to learn, but I love it.

I'm in London, so I go to the Parkour Generations classes. I'm really lucky to have that option.

I am jealous, No parkour classes that I know of in Orange County. I have seen some videos from the European parkour classes, they look fun. And I would love to sign up for them

Started recently. Every time I walk out of class I feel like a ninja badass, and then I wake up the next morning feeling like an old man.

Oh god yes, I love that post-class buzz but my abs are constantly hurting now.
Went to a class tonight and we ended up walking along a narrow wall with eyes closed. Madness!

The best thing we've got for parkour out here where I am is the local college.

And even that doesn't have much.

I was actually thinking about posting a parkour thread a few days ago, I live in an area that seems void of this sport, and was going to ask if anyone had any good websites or knew of any good video tutorials on the youtube they could point me too.

I am also interested in finding out more about this...

I'm actually really fearful so I aim for low things. It's not like you have to be on top of a building to learn techniques, right? You want to do it to learn and for fun. Go for the low walls!

lol happened to me quite a few times. so if i learned one thing it was if i had any doubt what so ever before trying something i wouldn't do it.
why does learning have to be so painful at times

I've tried it a bit- not really my thing. I guess it's my fear of heights... or probably more of getting hurt. But it's still fun to watch!
