i recently set up a bebo account after years of my friends buggin me about it and i was really surprised how many people i know have one. so my question is how many of ye have one and what do ye use it for?

I had a Myspace til today but I hardly ever used it and I got a alert today that my password had ben phished so I just canceled my account other than that I have a Tribe account

I technically have a myspace account... but I never use it. I have a renspace account that I use more, and a tribe one. I'm trying to be more active on them...

Argh! Social Notworking sites! See, personally I like the internet because I can hide from all those annoying numpties I knew at school, and having a facebook would defeat that object.

So LJ all the way for me. I've got a DeviantArt account, but don't use it that much at the moment.

Had a MySpace... nice for browsing to see what's up with friends and stuff, but stopped using it after the fifty millionth band "friend" request and the 100 millionth wannabe porn chica "friend" request. What the hell? I am friends with Stewie, Peter, Homer, and Buddha, though.. which is pretty cool.

I found my first ever boyfriend on facebook the other day - havnt seen or spoken to him since I was 6. We broke up when he tried to hold my hand in public!

i used to think the same but i can keep in touch with my friends alot easier now, besides networking sites are great (why is there no zombie emoticon? godamit no monkey no zombie how the hell am i supposed to express myself?)

I've moved around quite a bit because I grew up in a military family as well as moving away from my friends and family to live in my husband's state and go to college.

Myspace has actually let me keep in touch/get back in touch with a lot of people from my childhood/teenaged years that I probably would have never talked to again(but still wanted too!). I like being able to see what my friends are up to, or being able to share my new photos(hey, I'm not a cam whore I'm a photographer).

I keep my profile on private...I haven't really had much spamming bots to be honest.

set your account so that only friends can view it then muppets will have to ask your permission and you can say NO I DO NOT LIKE YOU GO AWAY!!!!!! and then they will leave you alone
