Word.

This was shot at the Wonder Ballroom here in Portland just last Friday. My routine wasn't quite finished in time for the show, but I came really close . The opening was a little off in part to me not chalking my hands, and I had my first drop, which jumbled the end a bit, but I didn't really feel bad about it. Overall, I did pretty much the best I could given the circumstances.

Oh. and my name is just 'Dustin Hubel' ...I need to message that guy... Apparently, the announcer handed the videographer the performer line-up sheet he was using on-stage, which included some names that were spelled phonetically. I find it funny.

Enjoy.

OH goodness, i LOVED that! Wicked job! That's the first time I have seen some emotion in a hoop routine! Dancey, fun, exciting, smooth, anti-spin!

Damn your videographer for slackin' a bit in there! ()

Thanks! I've been working pretty hard on this routine, so the positive feedback means a lot.

The funny thing about the videographer is that he managed to let me slip off-camera during the one sequence that I'd been having problems with up 'till that night, so I'm not too bothered by that part not being in the video.

thanks for sharing your act
i liked the fact that when you dropped the hooped you handled it well and the show went on
good on ya mate

was this night open to all types of performers or just juggling/manipulation?
i saw in the background a guy with a guitar or something... perhaps the next performer?

Really nice routine you've got there!

Sounded like you had a good crowd too, it always helps when people cheer and get into it.

Thanks for posting it and keep up the good work.
