what-if I went overseas to get a post-bach (programming) degree?
how does someone go about living pseudo-permanently in anoter country? UK? Spain? anywhere with cool CJers?

find a course you want to do.
Get a passport.
Ask the university.
For a US citizen it's very easy to get into Europe to study,
especially a masters.

I couldn't go even if I got a scholarship. Husband would freak out if I left for school for a couple of years. I wouldn't blame him either.
