Daisy UK supplier
I use these white ones:
http://www.newitts.com/product/IT010275/Ritmica_Gymnastic_Ball.htm&s=product
Colours - these look a little different:
http://www.newitts.com/product/IT010275/Ritmica_Gymnastic_Ball.htm&s=product
But you gotta add VAT and 7:30 shipping.
Of course we could all put a collect order together for lots of them, and distribute at BJC !

Would seem I aimed a bit too high with my goal of getting BTN rolls down in 2 weeks. Pity.
So I'm still working on those, and am also finally getting around to doing chest rolls with my right arm (although that's going far more swimmingly than it did when I started to learn with my left).
Foot stalls, elbow stalls, and suddenly reversing the direction the ball is rolling up or down my arms are the new tricks I'm working on adding to my skills here lately, along with occasional flirtations with single ball palm iso (palm iso = doubleplus frustrating.) |

Yup, I'm also working on the BTN roll.
I first tried to learn the regular BTN roll but I found it too difficult, also the Genie roll, but the pirouette neckroll worked once or twice already...so now I'm working on that one. Tho I haven't made any real progress yet.
And a few elbow stalls... _________________ We live in our fantasies and endure our realities.

Get metal implants. Worked for me.
Nah, just kidding...I have probs with outside elbow stalls too. Inside elbow isn't much of a problem. _________________ We live in our fantasies and endure our realities.

Well, the elbow stalls are coming along quite nicely, and I'm starting to get them accomplished more and more smoothly as the nights of practice go by.
I'm getting confident enough with my footstalls that I'm starting to practice them with my left, and work on transitioning the stall from foot to foot.
(Side note: this reminds me of a man I once heard mentioned who could literally juggle three balls using just foot stalls. Anyone know who I'm talking about?)
My BTN still sucks a fat one overall, but at least now I can occasionally pull it off, and in the event of a blue moon, sometimes smoothly.
So there's still hope for me yet.
My prayer butterfly is finally coming together. Seems that gentler motions are the key with this one.
The new additions for the day are:
Elbow to elbow toss (which I'm taking to far quicker than I figured I would. Tonight at least has made me VERY happy with my progress so far)
and the cage (feel free to salt and pepper this space mentally with your favorite varieties of expletives. It will save me the trouble) _________________ OCCJD: Because you can't, and you won't, and you don't stop. |

Currently working on these combos:
(ROE=right outside elbow, LOE= left outside elbow)
ROE arm roll to LOE
Chest roll to ROE
BTN roll to LOE
toss to ROE
toss to Right Temple
headroll to Left Temple
toss to LOE
Basically it's a series of transfers from ROE to LOE to ROE and on and on using a different path each time. The one via the BTN is so cool. It's a fun exercise. I want to develop it more such that the only place the ball ever truly stops is on the OEs but finds any and every way to get from one to the other.
And then this little piece of work.
from the R hand:
Chest roll to head roll over to the L temple to BTN to R temple, headroll to L temple, back BTN, Flip up and over the head to foot stall, kickup to forehead.
That's as far as I've gotten with it and it's as hard as can be. Inspired by the video of Franc and Colins uber-ridiculous vid. Give me a hundred tries and I'll pull it of perfect. Otherwise it's a train wreck.
Good news is that the chest roll to head roll is now almost perfect. 3 times last night I pulled it 9 times in a row (how frustrating is that!??), plus a handful of 8x and 7x. |

Good ones
Mentioning Franc -in this clip:

I've been working on the other bit - kick up to knee balance and back down !
I reckon that I've now tried over 500 times, and I haven't done it even once,
hey, but I'm getting close. _________________ http://ministryofmanipulation.com |

Crikey. Yeah I just wrote that part off entirely. While I'm sure I could eventually figure out how to make it happen, there seems to be no stall point on my knee/leg whatsoever. Good luck!!
P.S. starting to plan my UK trip for 07. Probably only going to be there for first 2 choice weeks for the fringe. Come hell or high water you and me are meeting. |
