I'd have dreads again in an instant but it isn't good for my general image when performing, especially doing stuff like corporate (sell your soul) gigs.

ill soon have to cut mine for the same reason if im serious about going pro.

I didn't have dreads but I did have a ponytail for several decades. Had to cut it off to get a job in Corporate America. I still miss my hair sometimes.

I have had locks for almost 2 1/2 years.
Love em! I have grown quite attached to them... "and they are quite attached to me" hehehe....
The only time they get in the way is when I am practicing behind the neck moves but, even when I had untangled hair the end result was still the same... ponytail it all.
And when it comes to stalling on my head all I have to do is find a spot between lumps ... walking while balancing one or two and playing at the same time is way too easy for me

I had dreads for almost 3 years, then combed them out during the Colorado Renaissance festival. Since Kansas City to here they've gotten well on their way to returning.

There was a bit of particulate matter in them when I combed them out, but nothing too serious. I wash them about once a week, and make sure they dry thoroughly. But other than that, not much.

They do affect me doing headrolls when they get long, but I don't mind having to compensate.

ive never had a full head of dreads but a about a year and half ago my hair was almost down to the middle of my back and i had to get it all cut off for a job, i ended up cutting all of it but this little rat tail from the bottom/back left side and i dreaded it and had there few about a week before i was asked to cut it off...
havent cut my hair since then its almost as long as it was ( grows pretty fast) and i had it all braided in little braids( close to 80) for a few weeks, just took them out the other day actually, i enjoy having my hair back and letting it be loose. i dont know if i could handle dreads...

I cut. You cannot imagine the pain and regret I feel. D: I miss them so much... am growing and starting a new set as soon as I have enough length. Not worried about them getting in the way... they're pretty simple to tie right up.
