i know this is really cheecky but im doing a project on typography at the mo and was wondering if any linguists know any good sites about the theory. (cheeky grin)

Well I know this probably isn't what you want, but check this out for excellent freeware typefaces.

He's got some for sale as well, but the free ones are most excellent

No problem. The best thing to do for a project would be to find a typological linguist and ask them about their field. Trust me when I say you won't get them to shut up about it. You'll have enough information to do 10 projects.
