Found the following fruit at the grocer, chakotay squash.
I am unsure of the spelling, but I am sure it sounded like that.
And I don't remember any squash on Star Trek Voyager.

Shocking I say, simply shocking.

Oh man...I know someone who would have wanted that. She did a whole photo project on "suggestive fruits and vegetables" or something like that my teacher showed it to us...it made me laugh a lot.

i think its chayote squash, really good stuff though. Great with new mexican food. Mix it with some green chilies in cornbread, makes an amazing southwest stuffing. aslo super good in just about any stew, especialy for you vegitarians out there.

Chayote sound right, I was working from memory.

I actually bought the fruit with the intention of shooting it on film, with some
more careful lighting. It had started to turn splotchy by the time I got around to shooting, and I just decided to trash it.

Ah well

So, all I have is this low-res cellphone pic, and happy memories.
