I used to do a lot of improv. I like word association games, but I found this game more amusing than just straight forward word association. It gives people a little more to think about.
It's like word association, except there is the first word you think of, and then you associate that one with another word that pops into your head.
Example word: Flea.
In regular word association:
Person 1: Flea
Person 2: Dog
Person 3: Bone
Every other word:
Person 1: Flea
Person 2: *thinks* Dog. Then they word associate dog and say/type "bone"
I guess I find it more interesting because it makes you wonder how they got to the next word. Often you can figure it out.
Make sense?
Maybe this is too soon since there is already another word association game, but that's what made me remember this one. Oh well.
Starting word: Doctor
