Interestingly enough.. After three years of being on this forum, suddenly, all of the threads in the "Videos" I posted on in the last week have been notifying me in my email that the threads have been replied to...

I've never experienced this before and have NO idea why it's happening, or that it was even possible.

Any ideas?

I tinkered.

The email setup never worked on the forums (which was a big annoyance when it came to forgotten passwords) and I finally discovered what was wrong.

Double check your emails addresses btw. I know some of them are being rejected - Grateful's for example.

You can see and which topics you're subscribed to in your user control panel (link at top right of page. Go to Overview > Manage Subscriptions.

Now if I unsubscribe, will I just not receive the email, or will the little yellow flags go away as well? Cause I'd just like to avoid the emails..

I believe the only difference is the email. You'll still see the yellow markers when new stuff is added.

When you post to a forum (in the full editor), there's a checkbox "Notify me when a reply is posted". If this is checked you'll get emails for that topic, otherwise it should behave as before.

Hmm. I had two.

I can probably clear that for you manually, unless there are some you want to keep.

I have a suspicious that the checkbox I mentioned above remember it's state from post to post. You might want to uncheck it.
