    Hey all,

I made a video of the old footage I dredged up while cleaning my hard drive. I can barely watch myself be so bad!! ;)
This is in 2024-2005 when I was approx. 3 years into CJ.
I had not met anyone who'd contact juggled in the Bowie shots.
Ryan introduced me to the Victoria Juggling Festival in March of 2024, which you can see changed my juggling quite a bit.

I find it interesting that the base of all of my contact juggling acts are in this video. Scary that I have been perfecting these specific techniques for at least 8 years.

    Enjoy!

I get a message saying the video is private.

Please fix it - I want to see Baby Dawn in action :)

Dawn, Dawn, Dawn, Dawn, Dawn....sloooooow down.... :P

But seriously, this was really cool to see because I am so used to a complete different style of contact you do. And great to see how far you have come since then.

I can see how you got so far so fast - notice how almost every move you do is perfectly bilateral, you do it one way then reverse it and do it other hand or other direction for the same amount of time... you were doing both hands both directions right from the start! ^_^

One of my favorite things about this is seeing that even early on you had a style all your own. I think what I took away from this most is that beginners should never be afraid to do things a little different and develop things themselves, and not be too consumed with just learning trick after trick that they see everyone doing.

I am inspired by seeing this. Im glad you chose to share.

I have been wondering about this, should I? It might detriment my 1 ball practicing if I'm not disciplined but it seems to me like it would make perfect sense.

Oh and thanks for posting this! You were already pretty creative back then :D
