The Orlando Juggling Club would love to have more poi spinners come out to our meetings. If you live in the area, get in touch with me if you want to come play :P

We are also looking for UCF Students or just people in the Orlando Area that are interested in any flow art or object manipulation skill. We have people that do all kinds of things, and if it is some kind of skill, we would love to have you in our club. We would also love to have anyone interested in learning anything that we do.

We have jugglers (beginners, intermediate, advanced, passers), contact jugglers, diaboloists, poi spinners, staff spinners, rope-darters, flower/devil stickers, fire eaters, fire tracers, gymnasts, trickers, yo-yo'ers, and unicyclers. We are always looking for new skills to add to our club as well!

The Objects in Motion at UCF club meets almost every day at some point in the afternoon at UCF, near the Bookstore.

I also run the Open Flow Arts Spin Jams, which happen on the 3rd Sunday of every month at Lake Eola Park near downtown Orlando:

Objects in Motion at UCF - Grassy area near the gazebo/bookstore/Starbucks , we have people out there almost every day, so get in touch!
Official Meeting time is M/W: 12-6pm and Tuesday 1:30-6pm.

I'm a UCF freshman, and would be interested. Where does the Orlando Juggling Club meet, and when?

We meet at Blanchard Park (dean side) at 6:00 p.m to about 8:00 pm on Wen.

I'll keep you posted when we know more about the UCF Club.

Mkay. Thanks. I dont know if I can make it to the meetings at the park yet though, I need to first get accustomed to classes and the like. I would very much enjoy to have something closer on campus though.

There is a meeting today at 6:00 PM at the Dean side of Jay Blanchard Park.

Here is a map of what the area looks like. There is parking right there and we should be pretty visible by some picnic tables.

I'll talk with Lei today and see what we are doing about the UCF club, but that will hopefully be a reality soon. In the mean time, we could make an unofficial day to meet up somewhere around campus. I'm thinking either the free speech green or memory mall so that we can have some grass to drop our balls in. That is, if you don't mind an outdoor practice space.

The OP is edited with new information, including the facebook groups for both the Orlando Juggling Club and the new Objects in Motion at UCF club, which Lei is going through the process of getting approved as we speak. Hopefully that will be up and running soon.

In addition, there is still a OJC meeting tomorrow at Blanchard park as scheduled if anyone would like to come out.

Had a nice time today on campus meeting Xan and several other perspective jugglers. Thanks to him informing me of a great spot to juggle, I believe we have selected the location for the Objects in Motion at UCF club.

It will be in the grassy and shady area near the gazebo, the book store, and Starbucks.

I was out there for 5 hours today and there was shade there from 2 oclock to 7 when I left. If you would like to meet at any time, join the fb group and make a post and someone will wander out there.

I will have to come out some weekend, not next weekend though. Plan a meet-up?

Just waiting to hear back from Mako on his availability before making it final, but I'd say we can shoot for something during the day and if either of you wants to stick around (I know Mako, but I'm sure your cool too), my friend is having a birthday party that night in my apartment complex, and you two are welcome to join me and crash on my couch if you don't feel like driving back up the same day. Or you can just play it by ear when you get down here.

The 18th works for me because I don't have any plans during the day, but my schedule is pretty flexible so we will figure something out.
