so...
Pich, sorry to let you down but i had like 15 mins to film before sun went down (and i really wanted to film outside my white room..) also i was out of inspiration... next time i will do better
Tom, sorry it is EMI that blocked it.. i will make a mute video so you can see the move. (if you want to listen to the original music choice it is New Model Army track name 'trust')

Once again a big surprise in this chamber with Tom's move! Simple line and line spin! This is something i recently learned and solved quite a few mysteries in my baton spinning as before that i wasn't really aware of what i was doing when using a line spin. (line spin is a very sensitive move...) If we keep looking in line spins for the next few moves i am sure Pich has some interesting patterns to keep us busy practicing ;)
Well done Tom!
See you all soon

Wooo, nice batons Tom :D

Congrats on being the chosen one, it's a move that I've only played with variations of but not that actual one, so thanks for that!

I'm sure that Tom would explain the move 13 in a different way than mine.

Sounds like a good plan. Up until now, it's been good to hear your terminology Pich - it's always clear to me what you mean, without you needing to explain it. Congasious uses the same descriptions, it's clear you two are close :D
I was wondering how necessary it was to give a written description of each move, but actually there are often ways to describe what is happening that helps the brain get a clearer picture.

Onwards with move 14! :ahhh:

Thank you for breaking down the move for me Pich, I somehow seem to be a bit lost with all this baton spinning vocabulary. I think getting the chosen one to describe the move is a great idea, but a lot harder now that I tried to do so myself. Door, tchoutchou, domino, I barely know what spin spin means. I think I'm speaking for all the beginners here when I say some video dictionary of these basic tricks/families would be most helpful, I imagine it would open up so many possibilities to people who are only starting out. I've tried to look for the meg video you've mentioned, seems like she has a few useful looking uploads with two batons, surely there are things I could adapt, but they are blocked in Germany, will have to wait a few days until I get out of this country, cannot stand not being able to watch all of these new videos...

Are we trying to come up with more line spins this week? The restriction didn't go down too well last time, but i'm curious to see what other's will submit.

Don't worry about the video Congasious, I'll get to see it in a few days, i'm sure the people of Norway are more reasonable with their youtube censorship

Oh, Germany... what a beloved cunt-ry system! An unforgettable EJC at Munich and so so many more things still to say! (i will not say them though :jest: )
Hope you get more lucky in Norway ;)

Well, be sure that we Germans do not like all this blocked video bullshit either. The problem is not the country or our laws, but the institution (GEMA) which controls the licensing rights for music here. As far as I know, GEMA is comparable to the RIAA. YouTube and GEMA are unfortunately in a seemingly infinite struggle which basically goes nowhere and I don't really think that this'll change soon.

Fortunately, there are some easy ways around the blocks. If you're using Firefox or Chrome, I can recommend a plugin called Stealthy. When acticated, it basically routes your internet traffic through computers based in another country and thereby allows you to view these videos, even when you're in Germany. There are other plugins which do the same, for example ProxTube.

Merci! Sh!t happens though... What is more worrying is that some people are so desperate that they risk going to jail for so little money... and these people are multiplying in Greece/Athens lately.. I am seriously thinking of going to live in the countryside within the next couple of years (or France - hehe)
A bientot!

Sorry to hear that Congasious, it's a bit of a long shot, but have you tried searching for the camera online? I've heard of some people tracking down their digital camera using the exif file, read more about it here http://www.stolencamerafinder.com/ it might lead you somewhere, you never know, maybe the person is using it now to upload photos of themselves on Facebook or something

That's a great move there Pich, I was hoping to come up with something similar, with the lines going both vertical, not only horizontal, but it was way too complicated, couldn't really come up with a pattern that's clear enough to show.

Here is my video, i believe it's just a simple antispin and spin spin, it's something I picked up going through Pich's channel

Anybody else still trying to upload their video? Only two submissions this week and as I'm not going to pick myself, we will all end up having to learn Pich's crazy hard move if nobody else jumps in

Thanks for the support guys :D
Tom, thank you for the info :) i don't think though i had left any files in that camera apart from the last FTLb shot and a photo of a cable of my portable amplifier, so there is not much info to track this through uploads. Anyways, it was a quite old camera, SD, and the battery was running low quickly lately. It was useful for sure but i am glad that this is so far the only thing missing from my house :) Thankfully the Mac Book Pro (that my girlfriend had given me while she was away on vacation for safety reasons....how ironic..) was never found by the thief... that would be like -1700 euro. So i say i am cool with just a missing camera.
As for Tom's move, i think it has been previously suggested by Elsie (only played the opposite way of spinning) and there is an analysis about what is going in there and a video by Pich explaining some things on that :) I think it is in the first posts of this FTL and is quite interesting reading the comments!
Keep this FTL alive and i will also be back soon!
ciao

PS. This year's EJC is not possible for me, but i have a strong feeling that next year i will be there again!

It's already Sunday, nobody else seems to show any signs of joining, and besides, I really like Pich's move, so we have a winner!

Pich, are you able to explain the move in words, I'm not even going to try, I just about understand how it works, let alone try and break it down into words

I want a simpler move... please let's wait for new submissions. We should say that the "Last" can choose in minimum 3 submissions... even it's more than one week.
