I impulsively started clapping after the video, luckily no one else is in the room. *gape mouth* ... I can't stop watching... the music, the movement. This guy is a beast!

I like Valerie Inertie - she spends less time in the hoops and more time dancing with it as a partner!

Yeah I found that out shortly after posting this hehe, already placed my request for a price check for a 6'4" wheel of my own. =p

I hope to start training on it next month or so, once my groin and abs heal up all of the way. =(

I've had a go on one of these, they are immensely difficult. There's a guy learning this at the Circus Space and whenever I see him training I always stop to watch. I'm totally fascinated, and in awe of the strength and control (not to mention the courage) that is needed to get anywhere with these monsters!

If I didn't need my fingers for other things I'd be well up for learning this :D

I wasn't thinking about fingers. But after watching the video again, I could see how easy it would be to crush them under immense weight if you forget to flatten your hand when spinning upside down. I've never seen one. But I'll ask around and hopefully find someone who has one. I want to try it out.

I got to watch two fellas practicing Roue Cyr at last years Turbofest when there was no one else in the gym.. It was incredible, and yes.. quite nerve wracking. I can only imagine the crushed fingers..*shiver*
