So did I. It feels a bit of a waste to, can acrylic be re used?

I thought of a metal mould in two bits, with the seam being buffed out...
But i guess this is the best way to avoid bubbles and reach an accurate size.

Yes, that's exactly what I thought as well, just a matter of buffing it out. If its hardened to the point of no heat damage, maybe it would cost too much to reuse?

I was pleasantly surprised with how cool the actual process was. :D

Seeing that i's made from a cube first it allows much fancier effects like layers and things inside. But i guess it's too personal to actually make them like that, shops wouldn't risk it. Maybe by contacting a factory... Don't know if layers would make the ball more fragile though

That'd be awesome "send us whatever and we send it back to you in an acrylic ball" :D

I'd send a hamster :lol:
