I don't know if anyone else on here accesses the forum from their Droid phone but it's pretty difficult to navigate. It would be great to have an app that views the forum while doing away with the need to scroll and zoom all over the place just to read a thread. Does anyone on here have the know-how to create such a phone app?

Ah I'll try out Opera Mini. I was using the stock browser, maybe that was my issue.

I'm on Motorola Droid 2 ... Android V2.2

I still think an app would be sweet... ;-)

I've got a friend who is actually taking programming classes, and one of her major projects is to make an app for a smartphone. Any smartphone of her choice. I've already convinced her to do an app for Android, and I'm sure I can convince her to make a forum reader.

Just tried BBfoc and Forum Runner but without much luck. Forum runner requires that the site admin add some code for functionality with the app. BBfoc just returned an 'unknown forum engine' error, which is weird because this is just a standard php bb.

I bet if she made a good one that worked intuitively and didn't suck battery life or force close too often, she could charge folks a few dollars for it and make herself some money. I know I'd buy it.
