New Technical/Moves Sections?
A new sub forum for all the different Disciplines would be great, and make it easier for us to discuss the finer details of contact juggling. 100%  100%  [ 48 ]

The "tricks and moves" section says "consolidated by popular request". Anyone know the history of this?

iMark - or suggested referring to it as more of a movement type section. A spot that would be able to focus developing style which could also include stuff like dance, mime or whatever.

And I'm guessing the trick and moves section was combined because it means the same thing? some people call butterfly a move some people refer to it as trick. That's what I thought all this time at least! :shock:

Is what I think. I do realise that there's a lot of sections in that list, though. Where do you reckon we can save space, mark? I have the power to make the changes to the forum layout, I'm just wary of wading in and changing things I shouldn't ;)

Good tutorials in the archives will be moved to the relevant technical forum.

Not sure Ed - I think you're on the right track generally. This may be a good opportunity to do a little bit of shuffling of the order of things as well. The video forum should be more prominent, for example (above buy/sell at least)

Also, Sennyo's "Other props" idea has some merit.

I like how Ed split that stuff off from general stuff. Gave a specific place for all the technical stuff that we are looking for. Other props could easily go under Non-CJ Discussion section. I think that's a pretty awesome looking proposal that Ed's got there for making these new subcategories work. Its seems to be a whole lot clearer where to put things....And maybe easier to keep it all nice and neat.

Video sub forum actually might get "lost" more between the other categories. I kinda always thought it stood out in a place like where it is now...at the end of the general cj. But The video section will be popular no matter where it goes.
