I *should* have fixed your forum permissions, Dawn.

I have no idea why that happened, or indeed how. There may be other people with the same problem.

I know not everyone who visits .org is a member, and I sometimes visit on my phone and I noticed if you are not logging in you cannot read the topics within the new sections, but you can see the others sections.

Can we fix this so that everyone can read these at all times?

I just noticed it is not only on your phone. If I'm not logged in on my computer, i can't get in the new sections also. That would probably be just a little security option that need to be changed to that those sections are fully open to the public too I'm guessing.

So I still cant access these sections if im not logged in on my phone .

Also, I wonder if we can put in a section that pertains to tech in another way (im not sure what we should call it) but a section for like camera and video questions, for lighting and maybe costuming could go in there.

On my phone the new sections show up correctly. So perhaps the problem reported above is perhaps related to some kind of browser specific persistent cache not refreshing nicely?

Edit: Just reread better and I apologize, you are right. I to get the error message 'You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum', as I try to enter e.g. the 'Body Rolling Playground'. Thus, it is a setting I should be able to solve somewhere,.. sometime soonish.

Thanks marco, I am able to see the sections from my phone if I am logged in. If I am not logged in the permissions are not set so I can see those forums. Not a big issue to any members but anyone who lurks the site often or just random passerbys cant see those forums.

alright, found the correct settings (I believe).

Some further thoughts:
I do think that the forum "Library, Reading room and workshop" should be located in the new 'Technical Discussions' section.
Tricks and Moves forum should get a description; because I don't know when and why it was "Consolidated by popular request!"
Videos forum should get a description.

perhaps we should go through the posts in the Library and chuck them in the correct subforum in technical discussion? the Library only has 377 posts.
