I noticed a little while ago that my iso hoop has somehow become slightly squished and non-circular. I've no idea how this is has happened or what squished it. I had been storing it just by leaning it up against a wall in my room. I can't think why this would deform it anyway. Does anybody know better? Is this is a bad way to store hoops? Oh, I should probably say, my hoop is a plastic one. Which type is best for not becoming deformed, metal or plastic?

Plastic will warp if it's thin and not laying on a flat surface... particularly if it's hot.

It may be possible to reshape it. Sandwich it with a flat surface (like sheet metal) and leave it in a hot place for a day... The sandwiching will keep it flat, metal will conduct the heat.
