I'm only just getting into trying to mix a little dance into CJ. We'll see how this goes. :D

<3 Ballet but have never taken it. Pure beauty and graceful power as I see it.

ballet is so easy to lose yourself in when you're doing it the most amazing feeling. I took ballet for 6 years but had to quit from an achilles tendon injury :( I've never been able to afford lessons again. I've missed it so much ever since!

Are you still able to move freely?

I think you should come to my workshop in Manchester. I'll teach you slow motion and waves, and Isolation Theory stuff. who knows, maybe something new about posture, but I doubt it. you'll love it.

:D ;)

I wants to be able to move like a combo of Ed and Elsie :D I have the basics of waving and gliding down, now I just need to practice forever.

Would you consider Jea9's style ballet? or is that more contemporary?

ed is right, ballet doesn't involve rolling around the floor everytime you get the change to

My main focus dance-wise is definitely on liquid, and tutting.
I've already added some elements of liquid into my body rolling work, but am still nowhere near having a proper full fusion of the two.

The tutting/body rolling fusion however is coming along rather nicely overall.
I've figured out quite a few different workable sequences since the video I posted of my initial forays into this.

I have however learned from this contact tutting experiment that my stall abilities just aren't at all where they need to be. This is a VERY stall intensive style, and sometimes I find myself feeling like a beginner all over again given the ridiculous amount of dropping this has resulted in.
It's very humbling, but I feel very worth it.

Something I'd like to see fully fleshed out: Contact digitz/digitutting (aka finger tutting)
Finger waves have long been a staple for isolations, but I know this can be taken much much further. It will still definitely be largely iso dominant stuff, but I can see roll possibilities that have not yet been explored as well.
Any volunteers to get on this mad science?

What if the closest thing to dancing you can do looks more like a monkey having a seizure?
What style is that?

Well, I don't know what that is exactly, but I think I've made that sound on occasion.

(goes off to Google krumping, tutting, and liquid dance)

I'd like to see some tutorial vids from Elsie. Her dance is mesmerizing.
