Because of some techical problems I wasn't able to watch the vid until yesterday.
I have to admit: this is absolutly great! I haven't seen anybody perform a combination of cj with that kind of dancing moves but it seems to give perfect sense. I wish I could learn some of the basics, but after searching in the "reflective Forums" for a while it seems to be at least as hard to learn as cj.
I would be extremly grateful for any kind of "newbie tutorial"...

Thanks :D

What kind of stuff did you want to learn? Waves and popping or glides and floats? Or both?

To be honest, I'm still a real beginner at both body and footwork. I learnt the waves and builds through a variety of watching loads of videos off Reflective, getting very stoned and messing around infront of a mirror and the best practice aid I have found is Eye Toy on the PS2, in the "Playroom" set it to "Copycat" and it's like a mirror with a 5 second delay - so you can do the move then instantly see what it looked like! :D
Waves are also something which are very good to practice slowly and exagerated - but as I said I'm still a beginner so perhaps I shouldn't be giving advice.

For floats and glides - See if you can get onto Soulseek and download "Ill Dill's Gliding for beginners" - a 20 minute video which teaches you pretty much everything you need to know. Then it takes at least 3 months to build up the foot strength (which I'm still lacking)
There's a thread on it HERE

Sweet durbs,
I like your style,
Much more interesting than just rattling off tricks,
Same for your poi vids,
Keep up the sweetness,
Mot.

Thanks for the kind words :)

The song is "Ideoteque" by Radiohead and is off the album "Kid A" which is now 2 albums old (Has since been "Amnesiac" and "Hail to the Theif" - in the UK anyway) - It's a wicked song, and even better live :D

I could only get teh first minute or so to display but it looks good.

What was really interesting is Kenny Loggins' I'm All Right was playing on the radio and it synched pretty well with your video. :-)
