tried to put as much body roll as i could. It still feels awkward but i'm really working on that. >.> and it's so awkward that I forgot to smile.

This is pretty much a tribute to all body rollers out there. I love watching you guys. :D *I kinda envy you too.*

this clip pretty much shows what i'm working on at the moment. Transitions transitions... any tips?

Everything's looking nice mang :)

Tips:

-slower isolations plz
-I don't believe in collapsed BtN rolls ;)
-folds are looking very nice and comfortable
-spirals are coming together nicely as well
-try to avoid grabbing the ball at the top of a bridge roll
-antispin bridge roll at 2:40 :D

Bodyrolling is always awkward... it's just harder and harder rolls that are awkward all the time ;) Good stuff, keep it coming!

Thanks Richard!

-I was a bit carried away with the music that I was listening to but I do admit that I don't really know when I'm speeding up. I need to keep that in mind thanks. :P
-I guess I'll have to focus on the proper BtN. *but it's haaaaard. haha!*
-The first time I saw you do 2:40 I fell inlove with it! it's kinda confusing to do with the footwork though, I gotta work that out.

Thanks a lot for the tips! I need to review your footwork tutorial video more! :D

Every time I see Dawn do a BTN , it looks collapsed. *just sayin*

Yup, and I'm always harping on Vancouver CJers to fix that ;)

Always? I have never heard that. I do a lot of variation in my BtNr tyvm. and I LOVE The collapsed versions. People LOVE to see it. I teach it in all my workshops. I think it's a beautiful move and a great stepping stone for proper BTNR's.

I hate the look of the "round" BtNr's. You should all change that and do them straight armed. :P

Love the work INK.
That said about the collapse rolls, I do feel if you are going to do a collapse roll you should commit to it. The ones you are doing are in between rolls, not collapsed, not apart. I have used collapsed as corrections in my work, but you have to make sure it's distinctly together to make it look less awkward.

I would ask you to move your feet more. Standing in one spot is great training, but not as fun to watch. ;)

looking good tho! :)

Thanks a lot Dawn! :D

I do have that tendency to train myself doing stuff standing still, but I am working on moving around. >.< It's just I'm still having a hard time managing my footwork.
*I'm really a bad dancer.*

about the BTNs, I think I have to agree with Dawn. and that's probably reason I do collapse (or maybe something similar. haha) a lot is because I love how it looks compared to the proper ones (aside from it being really hard to do, I attempted to do in on 1:40 but I still can't do it right on an acrylic.). even Okotanpe does it and he taught me the move as well so yeah.

My opinion on the proper one though, I love its technicality and how it opens up to a lot of things. so yeah..

I just want to be able to learn and do both for the sake of variety. :D

Juggling has actually helped me out quite a bit with that...Not sure whether or not I actually am better at dancing since I started, but I at least feel like I'm better at it. I feel more comfortable, and no longer require a state of inebriation before going onto the dance floor at clubs, at any rate.

It had never occurred to me to try antispin bridge rolls until seeing your video. They're a little tougher than I expected. hehehe.

I'm with Richard in that I'm not a big fan of the look of collapsed btn's, however I feel that it is good that you do them, AND are willing to learn them the other ways too. The more variety you have to play with, the better.
Come to think of it, I bet those collapsed btn's will make learning behind the head folding lines much easier to learn, should you ever decide to try them.

I see no reason for you to envy body rollers. Everything I saw says you are one!
Well done overall!
