I would have posted this sooner but I forgot it was coming up.

It is August 17th through 19th in Berkeley CA. It sounds like the event is free and the variety show is $15 bucks. I am thinking of going this year because I really want to go to a juggling festival. Anyone else going or interested in going?

It snuck up on me too. I've been looking forward to a chance to hang with the Berkeley/Oakland folks... Everyone, help convince me to make the trek up the coast!

Do it! I'm gonna be flying back from Edinburgh the weekend of the fest... :P But Kyle will be there and he can show you, well, um, more than a few things :)

Now I need to blackmail some friends into going so I can afford a hotel room. >:)

The timing is a little off for me. But I will post here if I make it.

Thanks for the encouragement, Rich! Kyle? Cool! I remember him from Isla-Vista/Santa-Barbara; exploding the minds of some circus kids by switching from solid CJ to 7-ball toss. How (PM?) and who should I contact at the Vulcan? That place has sounded legendary...
I'll stay through Sunday if I make it, Bri, but will probably have to hit the road a little after lunch...

I recently applied for a job at Disneyland so I have to wait to see what happens with that. If they hire me then I probably can't go to the juggling festival. If I don't get the job, I'll probably hit up the Vulcan.

RE: Vulcan contacts, hit up Kyle J on Facebook. Not the fire spinner Kyle Johnson, but the contact-juggly Kyle Johnson.

It's gonna be right next to Burning Man so there could be tricks, but it'll probably come through.

It would be great to meet you guys if you can make it out! Just run around screaming "BRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN" at all the tall people you see, and one is, eventually, bound to be me!

Arg! Need to have the ignition cylinder replaced on the car... needless to say, this throws a wrench into the works...

If you do that, you'll make the problem worse! No throwing wrenches unless you are juggling them! :D
