I did not get my ticket....I am very sad, but from the sounds of it there are going to be lots of extras due to people trying really hard to go and ending up buying to many, so I would say everyone should not give up. I am going still, I may not have my ticket but I am going!!! I am also sad to hear that so many of you are giving up so quickly because the tickets are dumb. I would say keep trying I want to see every body. iMark it would be amazing to hang out again, you showed me such great time when I want in London that I would be more than happy to try to return the favor and make you a meal when your out there. In fact I would offer that, at the very least to any .org member who makes it this year. Please don't leave in the most fun amazing place on earth with on other .org members!

Grateful: Sorry bud. We really did look forward to jamming out with you on the Playa. Honestly, nothing would make us happier than to see you and many other .org members at the Burn but, sadly, Senn and I are in a position where we need to know when and where our trips are going to be as soon as possible. There is a bunch of chaos and uncertainty surrounding the Burning Man tickets right now. We're just taking this as a sign from the universe, accepting it's reality, and moving to an event which would be just as beneficial to us.

I'm still going to do burning man one day, and the people attending are as much a draw for me as the event itself.

If not this year, I'll definitely try again next year. I'll (gulp) be 40 by then. I think Burning Man would make an excellent start to a new decade for me :)

Looks like the ticket situation is still in a state of flux:

http://blog.burningman.com/2012/02/news ... city-2012/

It seems the tickets that were intended for general sale will now be allocated to "volunteers, theme camps, mutant vehicles, art installations and performance groups".

Bump! I just got confirmation that my all-levels CJ workshop is listed in the events guide. We live right downtown so it's sure to go crazy. Topics will include the physical framework of butterflies/bodyrolls, the technical/mental/emotional components of isolations, and maybe some footwork if we have time.

Details:
5pm-6pm Thursday
Vulcantown, 8:00 on Center Ring (that's across the street from Center Camp, not on C Street)

Aileen's teaching contact staff too... plus there are a stack of other workshops on poi, fans, hoops, etc. Our open fire jam is Wednesday from 8pm-10pm. See you fine folks there!

I'm living right 'round the corner from Vulcantown, so I'm figuring on being there a decent percentage of the week....
