Since registration for tickets are going on right now, seems fitting to see who is going. If you're thinking about it at all, you'll want to head over to the official burning man website and read how this year is working for getting tickets...immediately!

Here is a taste of my own personal experience from 2010. I was sad not to be able to make it last year. Riel and I are registering for tickets this weekend. I was excited to find out this past weekend that iMark is for sure going also. YAY! You in for this year, Richard? who else? :D

And Grateful just posted a couple videos in this thread. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11395

I really hope so. I'm not betting on it.

Though I guess shooting for a conclave ticket is technically betting on it.

If all works as planned, I'll be attending (and performing) with the Minneapolis Fire Collective.

Got the classes I need for this term, which means I'm probably not going to BM. I will be spending damn near every waking moment doing homework for the next year, and if I succeed then I'll likely be accepted into one of the most competitive schools in the country. This definitely means not missing the second week of Fall term, which will include general bio, organic chem, and physics with calculus.

Senn, I think you really ought to come kick it in the Bay before and after Burning Man if at all possible. It's the other Vulcan holiday besides Firedrums, when the world's best spinners come kick it at the Vulcan for a week before and a week after.

I received a mail to let me know that I didn't get my ticket. How did everyone else fare?

I may still try and get a ticket, but it'll depend on who else is going. If you guys are still in then I'll definitely make the effort. Fingers crossed for you!

In our group of 7 people, I'm the only one who got a ticket. I'll keep it until I know who exactly is going.

Sucks that a lot of people didn't get a ticket. :(

EDIT: I have decided to sell my ticket, I'll try my best to go next year. (assuming they get rid of the lottery ticket buying)

That sounds freakin cool! Hope to join in on that awesomeness (in the not too distant future). Alas, I didn't get a burning man ticket. :( Because of saving all I can to get to The Flow Show and the cost it is to get to burning man and everything involved, I've decided to just forgo this year. I'll try again next year for sure. Would love to hit the Vulcan as part of that. On another note, likely will be staying at the Vulcan (or flowspace...Noel said one of those he'd work out for us) for The Flow Show and looking forward to it! :D

We are thinking about saving up and hitting Pacific Fire this year to replace BM. Will be a whole lot cheaper for us.

I'm over the stress of trying to get to the burn. I'll try again when they have their sh*t together.

Meanwhile, Pacific Fire and visiting Bri and Kimi in Eugene!!! Woooo!

Pacific Fire? Well, I appear to have a burning man shaped hole in my calendar around that time...
