You're getting a special hug tonight iMark :D

Is everybody okay with doing two batons the whole time or would anyone rather begin with one?

Okay, slight little change of plan - IT STARTS TODAY!!!!

I'm just uploading a video now, will post it here soon.

I will also edit the first post with the most up to date video that we all follow so there's no need to trawl through the post to find it.

I figure you don't need to copy it absolutely spot on, just prove that you are attempting the move. Please do try to go the same direction though, as drilling both sides is very important!

Notes for anyone just starting to learn, try to only use your thumb and first two fingers to do the spins, and keeping your palms down helps too.

If we can all try to keep it quite simple in the early stages it should help people to keep motivated...

ok this is good that it's starting today!!

For beginers another advice that came me from pich is to keep always the thumb under the batons while you are spinning it. this was very helpfull at the begining for me.

I hope to take part of the game very soon...

cia.

This is my submission. How do we name these things???

I guess I would call this move a "STACK", unless there is another name for it.

Pilolip/Ryan, knowing the names of any of the moves would be really helpful, could you tell us whenever something that gets done has a name?

Whoops, yes! My Chook came home yesterday evening after being away for nearly 2 weeks so I got quite sidetracked :D

And the winner is... Grateful! Firstly because it's quite a simple move, but also because it keeps the flow going nicely from my move.

Dizz, have a look at this video - http://poicommunity.com/online_lesson/c ... baton1.php It might help your spins a bit. I know your batons aren't quite as easy to manipulate, but getting this spin nailed is so important! Both hands both directions and in every possible combination...

So, here is Grateful's video, I'll update the first post too.

gonna jump in. i'm adding in a trick that we call 'clocks'

i'm scared of when yorgos jumps in. I think we should set a rule about no complex quarter spin box variations ;)
