hehe, Bandaid awesome video this week! The palmspin (especially crossing hands) looked great! And the climbing ratchet was killer!

And of course I was over complicating the half pipe spiral. Thanks mark for a straightforward shot!

Thanks Zeta. I learned the climbing ratchet from you. I hadn't thought of it until I watched your variations.
Also, I liked what you did with the spiral. You're proving that there's a lot of potential for variations with it.

Hey all,

Filmed this a little while ago and finally got it together to quickly edit it and upload it to youtube... Guess i should have checked in to find out what everyone else has been doing, as we now have another chest-roll variation.... I went for a pray-d-fly/chest-roll variation thingy, guess both those moves are pretty nicely transitioned out of a pray-stall.

In any case here we are

Oh and i must add, Bandaid - im totally digging that iso you went for, sweeeeeet!!!!

This week made me smile. I have to admit that if I was playing this game, I would have likely submitted a chest roll too or something very close. How is this that most of us thought the same this week? Without further ado....

This week's winner is MarkConigliaro with the Chest Roll Curl.

Congrats, Mark!

If we are putting a chest roll into our routine, let's change it up a little and make it a little different than the norm with this nice variation. It's okay if you're still struggling with a chest roll. Like always, just do your best. Don't drop out if you stumble on this part. You don't loose points for fumbling. I think I may have the winner of every week give a few tips on what helped them learn this move or variation. When Tobias jumped in the other week and added those nice extra tips, I realized it doesn't hurt for all of us to practice explaining what we are demonstrating. So, how about it, Mark. What would be your tips for this variation?

ALSO!!!! I would have ended up posting Mark's video in this post regardless of winning or not. I was about to ask him to post a little tutorial or tips on that last move he won with. I have noticed some confusion in what people are submitting when it gets to this section of the routine. This move is definitely a level changing move with a step by step way of getting from point A to point B. So, even if you think you have Week 6 move down (vertical spiral halfpipe), please check that you are doing it correctly.

On a different note, I've noticed that you guys have been working to make the 20 finger roll much less windshield wiper-like and it's showing! Woot! You guys should be very proud of improvement with that move. :D

This week will still be open to go into whatever you want to next after this move!

FTL Game UPDATE -- I wanted to give you the heads up that after Tuesday, April 3rd (a couple more weeks until then) there will be a short break. I'm traveling to perform Buugeng (with Riel) in The Flow Show in San Francisco (http://theflowshow.org/co-creators-2012/ You'll see a couple other familiar dotorg faces on the second page of performers too. ^_^). I find it's nice to have a little breather anyway. Won't be a long break. Just a week or 2. If you're struggling to keep up with the game, hang in there. A break is coming and that usually revs everyone up again and gives people time to work out the spots they are having trouble with.

You have between now and next Tuesday (March 27) to submit your next entry. Your video should include:
1. Palmspin
2. Ratchet
3. Rotating Claw Iso
4. 20 Finger Roll
5. Finger Flurry Iso Variation
6. Vertical Spiral Halfpipe
7. Inside Arm Rolls
8. Circle into Prayer Stall
9. Chest Roll Curl
10. Your submission for next week's move.

10 weeks! You guys are still going strong. That's some serious commitment. And great to see those stepping in and learning the routine and submitting. Hugs to all!!! :)

Yay I win again! Thank you! But instead of a text tutorial, I made a mini video tutorial because I had some free time tonight, and I wanted to get it up early so people can practice. Hope this helps!

If you want a text version for some reason (like I didn't make something clear, this took all of 5 minutes to plan and shoot, so I wouldn't be surprised or insulted if you said it sucked) then just ask and I'll type something up.

I'm so glad I bought a stage ball because the ball has slammed into my chin I don't know how many times while practicing the new chest roll. haha! I might be using my stage ball for FTL for a while until I get better. Maybe not.

I have only just started to land chest rolls and now you want us to finesse them!
