I've been following (no pun intended) although not participating in the Following the Leader contest, and I wondered if people might be interested in kicking things up a gear, and starting again with a few slightly harder moves throw into the mix.

I had a chat with Lapwing and she even volunteered to officiate.

Here's where I'd like to start:

A nice, simple base, and I'm sure you can see the possibilities for next moves (I know some people consider the top of the head stall a poor silly fad, so feel free to substitute forehead or temple stalls if those are more to your liking).

Let's say the contest ends a week from today (8th of April), at which point Lapwing will render her judgement.

I'm looking forward to seeing where we can take this.

P.S. If this goes well, I have some ideas for "Following the Leader - Advanced level"

Well, ok, I admit it - this was never intended to be serious.

A poor silly fad = April fools day.

But don't rule the idea out altogether...

I dont have a hoop either, but in all seriousness I would LOVE a intermediate or advanced FTL to participate in.

ROFL Awesome April fools iMark. This kind of seems interesting though. What you did is like a dare or seeing who could pull off what you do. Might make for an interesting series of craziness. fun and entertaining.

I know its ALMOST late, and my apologies if I miss any formalities, this is my first follow the leader entry, and I had just started working on a headstall and wanted to contribute.

he stanley, nice work but between your head stall and elbow catch there needs to be a foot catch and a throw to the other foot or else it is not follow the leader.

The point is that lots of people post videos of their own moves each week, then the person officiating the whole thing chooses a leader and the leaders move becomes the next in the sequence.
At least I believe those are the rules, I could be wrong.

Also, I spent an hour trying to do a foot catch and all I got was a hurt toe, lol. Something I will have to work on.
