This is Onigiri my guinea pig. She eats better than I do, most days, and owns half of my apartment. I'm such a sucker for fuzzy cute things...

My family has had pets for as long as i can remember.

Now that i live on my own i kinda miss the fluffy presence... But no pet would be happy in a small apartment in town. Their happiness comes before my need of fluff. I'll have loads of cats once i have a house.

Like kurt cobain says "i like cats with their f*** you attitude, you need to be worth their love"

Awww pets, I'm sad that most of these pics don't show up for me :(

MY cats, I love them so much. I moved out of home before xmas last year and my boyfriend and I are luckily both cat lovers so had to have our own cats... we got Sid almost 2 years ago now (we had him at my bf's before we moved in together)
Image

he also had a sister called Cassie, she was gorgeous, long haired, black and white, had markings like a cow! But she got cat napped last xmas :( it was completely heartbreaking
here she is
Image

before this xmas, however, we decided to adopt an RSPCA cat, we found an extremely scared shy long haired beautiful black cat and decided to take her (she's exactly the same age as Sid too!) she hid behind the sofa for a couple of weeks and was extremely scared of everyone but after a couple of months became the MOST friendly snuggly cat ever... picking her at the RSPCA (because she had the highest pitched, sweetest little meow and nobody had ever chosen her because she was so scared of humans) was the BEST decision we ever made
Image

This is Daisy, my parents cat (but really my cat) we got her on my 18th birthday (not as a present though, just coincidence) and she's very picky about who she likes, she pretty much only likes me and my dad lol, she's verrrry fat but hilarious and sweet
Image

last but not least my parents also have Pippi, one of 3 kittens we had born in our house, home born kittens were awesome.. Pippi is the last surviving one, he's pretty old now, around 17! We did have their mum, Roo, another big black cat called Reg, and the other kittens, Baz and Mirri. Before them we had Pompom (who was here when I was born but he died when I was around 10 or 11 so he was such an awesome cat to grow up with!) and a kitten called George we had for a short while but he was quite ill and died early on. We also had Ben at the beginning, another black cat but I don't remember him much! and then we got Reg and shortly after, Roo! (these are all cats btw lol, we're cat mad...)
he LOVES to sit in boxes
Image

sorry it's so long but I absolutely LOVE cats lol and have had many and plan to have many more! I'm so glad I found my bf too as he's always grown up and lived with cats so it's only natural that we should now have our own cat family!

Should re-name this thread, show us your extended family. Or show us your non-human family ^^

Dre (10 week old Pit) and Tigz (10 year old Golden Retriever) having a moment.

Dre showing off his good taste, settled down to watch his favorite show, Top Gear (UK of course as I don't consider the US version to be Top Gear at all)

Sorry if the pics are a bit small, they were taken on a phone xD.

I've had 3 hamsters before and am now on my fourth. My first hamster, Coconut, died after three days :( : we think he had a hard problem. Then Liquorice: he was a little antisocial, a real escape artist though - worked out how to open his cage door so from then on I kept it shut with bull clips. Next was Coco: more friendly than Liquorice but fairly shy, he had to be put down :(

Now I have Winko. He is a Chinese Dwarf Hamster and is actually a rescue hamster: his previous owner could not manage looking after him and all his siblings. He got bullied by the others and nearly lost his tail, but that's all healed and now he is a very happy hamster. He doesn't like being picked up (always manages to wriggle between my fingers) but quite likes attention.

Here he is:
