About a month ago, I was practicing juggling and poi out on my school's lawn, and we had a bunch of people visiting, and one of the teachers was like "hey, can I film this awesome thing you're doing?" So of course I said yes.

It's not an actual performance video, unfortunately, but at least it's something:

Hey there! Didn't know you were here, though you've been around a lot longer than me. Nice work! I'm looking to bump up from 2.5" to either 2.75 or 3" for my multisphere work. I really like the look of 3", I just need to get used to it, its a bit of a jump. But I can do a reeeealy slow 4 ball palmspin with bocce balls, so I know 3's won't be an issue if I put some time to it. Must say, you look a little different un-gypsified... hehe. I've got a vid I shot of practicing to see where I needed to focus on back over a month ago, and I'm working on a new little one with some newer stuff, including some performance snippets from my work at the Branson Landing in my gypsie/pirate outfit. It'll be pretty sweet, where I perform there's a fire and water show going on behind me. Anyway, great to see you on here, I think you're the first of the KC sp'ers I've seen on it.

Hi! Yeah, I don't really post much, just kind of lurk about. ^^ (Kevin and Joe are on here too)

funny, I'm actually thinking of getting a set of 2.75" spheres so I can do more stuff with multiball than I can with the 3" ones.

I saw kittie, I think I saw kevin, haven't seen joe that I know of... but I may have and just don't know the name and no picture to recognize. I would think my hands are at least a little bigger than yours, so I think 3's would look best if I can get comfortable with them. Do you have a renspace.com account? I know joe set one up and I'm on there too. Oh, what campus are you at btw? I recommend a road trip to Branson... its pretty this time of year. Oh, and there's this really cool store downtown that has spheres... It would be sweet to get the whole crew down here sometime. Probably my least favorite thing about faires is making friends then only seeing them for a few weekends a year.

I'd be quite surprised if you haven't seen me around I do post quite a lot, or at least used to. I also contacted you on renspace and tribe :p I'm Twisthem488 pretty much everywhere.

I want some 3" to start multisphere

Very Nice, really enjoyed it.

I would say keep fingers closed when doing the enigma, but other than that great vid.

Possibly, I have very long fingers, though (or so I'm often told). 3" works for me most of the time, but there are just a few things that they just won't all fit in my hand for.

I tried setting one up but the site wouldn't work for me. I have enough accounts on other sites that I didn't really worry about it too much.

uh yeah I don't have a car, so even a couple miles is a long ways away for me. Branson is, like, 3 hours away. Sorry! >.<

Dont I recall both you and I having the same size hand? I remember being jealous that you could spin 3" with no problem and I felt that they were to big And I have small hands. According to Drews book I should be using 2.75"

not having a car is definitely trickier... well, I know joe isn't super far from KC, and I go up there quite frequently, and KC is in the 3 hour range, so possibly you're near there too... maybe we could all meet up there somewhere sometime... several unknown variables in that equation, but it could work. And no idea why renspace wouldn't work, but I understand you on several accounts. I have a myspace that I never touch, only made it because some friends kept bugging me to. Then got renspace. Then got tribe. Then got here. Then family bugged me to get on multiply. *covers head with hands and screams* ...I'm not a blogger. I'm typically not a forums person either, but that's cause most are lame... this one is cool. I usually look at it, if I have time to be on the computer, I have time to be gaming. Anyway, maybe something can work out somehow someday sometime... I've got to work on getting my behind the neck rolls consistent so I can show joe. Right now I've only got them about once in every 20 or so tries.

Nice video. Next time do one with music, and your costume! I've heard so much about it now I want to see it.

Illumilatte: Thanks! And yeah, I wish I had a video of one of my performances at Faire, where I'm all in costume and juggling to the drummers behind me. >.< But alas, I do not.

james: oh yeah I'm in KC. There's a couple other sphereplayers in KC too, if we ever could get a gathering going up here. That'd be pretty awesome.

Joe: it is depressing. And as to the hand thing, well, the first time I met Doug I was complaining that my hands were too small to do palmspinning with 3" spheres, and then we compared hands and his were smaller or the same size, I can't remember which, and he used 3"s just fine.

I'm going to be in KC on the weekend of the 8th for frankie's grandparents 50th wedding anniversary I know. And around Christmas, but thats probably not the best time to gather. About video, I'll definitely have to remember to bring my camcorder next year and do a feature on the KC fest troop. But yeah, it would definitely rock to meet some others. I'm trying to convince my wife how awesome sphereplay is, and she can do a little, but maybe seeing another girl doing it would influence her more. She never got to come down to the tent, she kept an eye on our booth while I went to play. I think she got to meet everyone except you though when they came for coffee.
