Hi all, I'd love to learn the 2 ball ratchet but I cant tell from the gif whats going on - could somebody run through it for me? I'll be doing a video for this in the very near future, took me a looong time to work out what was going on in that gif, hopefully have something up ny tomorrow _________________ Now all gatherymost to amuse it and have a tilty elbow or a nice cuffle-oteedee - Oh Yes!

I'd call it a 2 ball ratchet too, but i realised last month, that technically its more like a Geneva stop mechanism.
That's just not so catchy a name is it.
the 2 ball geneva stop mechanism.
Any way, I'm digressing again.

well, I think in the Playing in the Multisphere video when Shifty shows it, I think he referred to it as a ratchet, and yeah, that sounds cooler I think, as the other doesn't exactly roll off the tongue so easily. Shifty teaches that as well as some of the other crazily insanely smooth moves he is known for on that dvd. It's just all around a freaking awesome dvd set, one disc of all instructional, another of all performance. I set it on the Party Mix Loop and run it in my shop all day, and almost everyone stops and starest at the screen for a while when they come in. _________________ It's not about rules... its about play |
