Just got my Babache stage ball, thanks to everyone for telling me to go that route. I do miss the weight of the acrylic but I can see how learning with a lighter ball will make it easier to use an acrylic later. I'm not sure if it's the weight or the fact that I bought a 4" stage ball and I'm used to a 3" but I feel like I'm having to relearn a lot of things, especially the cradle as I see that I'm very wobbly in my hold. |

I've noticed the lighter stage ball helped me get a lot more gentle with CJ. When you have an acrylic that you're trying to power around a bit (in comparison) the stage ball is good to just slow down and go "ok... calm now." |
