ok so once someone did this to me
right infront of me
it was some hippie raver
he did the cool pretend to not notice us then did the dive for the ball
took it and ran off
all his friends were happy to see such a show.. but didnt go with him

so we had to wait 25 minutes for him to return to his buddies.. 25 minutes that well.. we didnt want to have to spend standing there being laughed at
..he came back, threw the ball 2 us.. and we kicked the s**t out of him
i mean hell, we belted him for it. No one messes with us and we showed it! we knocked him out and his friends backed off

i heard later that he was picked up by an ambulance and had lost alot of blood.. his face never looked the same

I had a ball stolen at a performance thing, turns out the person who ended up with it was a person I worked with. Apparently she'd traded a cigarette for the ball for some drunk fucker. She then told people specifically not to tell me about it. I'm a nice enough person to people that several people told me about it.

When I confronted her about it she acted ashamed but I told her to keep it. I told her, "I dunno obviously you thought it was funny enough to be worth keeping it from me. I think it was a bitchy thing to do but if you think having something pretty that is worthless to you is worth being a bitch I won't take that away from you."

I didn't get it back, but to me it didn't matter. I'd rather be honest than get my ball back.

It annoys me when people have so little respect, I had 2 acrylics stolen at Glastonbury (did me a favour in the long run but less of that) I just hope that it gives those hippies something to do while smoking pot and dodging the draft for Vietnam

worst thing i had stolen was a deck of playing cards
from my, at the time, best friend

i had him over
when he left my cards were gone (these wernt cheap)
i saw him a few weeks later and told him im really upset theyre gone
and i hinted that I knew he stole them
next time he came over, he left and bam, there they were
now i know they were not sitting there for the last 4 weeks. shame 2.. even the nicest people can be dishonest

one of the things that put me off of Magic The Gathering is that all the friends I would play with would steal my cards. I've lost interest in it since then so I think I actually left all of them at another friends house. They have been on a shelf in the basement for about a year

the thing with MTG that lost me was i had an awessome artifact deck and then one series came out making artifacts common
made my awesome deck completely useless

my two favorite decks had ben banned from play by most of my friends. one was a huge discard deck. every turn I would dispell you, make you discard cards in your hand, and then kill some mana for fun

The other one turned forests into 1/1 creatures, had tons of 1/1 creatures that could be used for mana, and a crapload of squirrle tokens. Then use like 2 overruns. I once killed a friend for 218 damage in one turn XD

my artifact deck had so many combos
get certain cards out and then i could force the other player to discard his whole deck that turn
ofcoarse the deck was banned from tournament play

i traded a few cards for WoW cards
gave that a go
overall i loved the game
teamwork against an ony deck was great fun
but the game lacked interest in many peoples eyes.. and hence my cards collect dust

Ah, I don't really get to play card games that much anymore. No one wants to play with me cept my brother. And the only one he wants to play is yugioh.

Luckily I am in touch with the heart of the cards! XD

i was at a fleagh ceol in cork a little while and yes ago one my precious acrylics took a wander with a stranger. its not too common a thing to happen at fleaghs but theres allways one or two who dont get it. ah well easy come easier go. the way i see it is loads of really amazing things have happened to me just by being here (eg discovering the juggling world and community being just one) so if on occasion i have give something back via a bad experience so be it. deosnt stop you from curseing the b*****ds that did it tho
