One write up says that it can deliver up to 1200 poinds of thrust. That means that for a 200 pound person you could feel 6 G's bouncing on this thing. Wow!

The videos are kinda nifty. Thus proving once again that to truly understand anything is to be creative with it. _________________ James, F.E. - Overworked and underplayed |

I'd be a little afraid of landing that thing... I mean you hit the ground the wrong way and you slip and it sends you flying in a direction you didnt think you could go... scary _________________

Yeah, it kind of seems like you could break your neck with that thing. _________________ "Let them learn that unmagical people are put into the world to justify and serve the magical."

Hmmm, why save up? I have some re-bar and some bungee cords lying around... If I want to build by own spring-powered deathtrap, why shouldn't I? _________________ If you aren't a part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate. |

Flying is easy, all you have to do is fall and miss the ground.

A man by the name Arthur Dent once told me something along those lines. _________________ If you aren't a part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate. |

No, actually,it was the advice the Guide offered. But Ford, when he met up with Arthur on prehistoric Earth (right before they encountered the eddies in the time-space continuum), mentioned how he had briefly gone mad and then tried to learn to fly. However, Arthur, in his headlong hurtle down Agrajag's mountain of hate, was the first in ages to be able to do it. Then, after retrieving the bag that the Athens airport lost, and making back to Earth (having been nearly assassinated at Stavro Mueller Beta in between) he goes on to pass this knowledge on to his newfound girlfriend. I think by this time we'rein "So Long and Thanks for All the Fish." Yeah, at least as I remember it. _________________ If you aren't a part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate. |
